Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Today, the Carmelites (Christian order) celebrate Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Highly venerated among sailors, Our Lady of Mount Carmel has been declared patroness of several countries, as well as the navy (military) and sometimes the countries' armed troops.
