Saint Elijah

Today, many practitioners of the Abrahamic belief (including Christians) celebrate Elijah. Prophet of Israel from the 9th century BCE, his ministry took place in the kingdom of Israel after the death of Solomon. He is the prophet of YHWH, God of Israel, facing the god of the Canaanites, Baal, of whom the queen of Israel Jezebel became the ardent missionary. He performs many miracles before flying into the heavens in a whirlwind.
