Fateha-e-Yazdaham is a Muslim religious festival observed on the eleventh (yazdaham, Persian for eleventh) of the Islamic lunar month of Rabi-u-Sani, commemorating the death of Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jilani, the founder of theQadiriah Sufi Order.

The celebrations include reading the Quran, holding milads, discussing the life of Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jilani, seeking blessings from God through du'a-munajat or supplications (individual and collective), and distributing specially prepared tabarruk (consecrated food) for the occasion.

Qawwali sessions are organised in some areas of Old Dhaka on this occasion. It is an optional holiday in educational institutions.
