Nuzul Al-Quran refers to an event where the first recitation of the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad by the angel Jibrail. The Prophet is said to have been visited by Jibrail while he was performing ibadah in a small cave on Mount Hira', located just outside Mecca.
