Lawrence of Rome

Today, Christians celebrate Saint Lawrence of Rome. He died as a martyr on a grill (hot coal) in 258 in Rome. Guard of the Church's treasures, he refused to hand them over to the Roman Empire, and instead distributed them to the poor and sick.
