Libation to Artemis

On this day, the Greeks made a libation to Artemis. Daughter of Zeus and Leto, sister of Apollo, she is the goddess of wild animals, hunting and warlike frenzy. She is also the protector of children (human and animals), pregnancy, childbirth and midwives.
