Today, Christians celebrate Saint Jeremiah (May Yahweh arise). He is the second of the four great prophets, a Judaic prophet of the Tanakh and the Old Testament and the presumed author (without certainty) of the Book of Jeremiah. He is a contemporary of one of the two minor prophets Zephaniah.
