Today, Bulgarians celebrate Trifon Zarezan, the wine and winegrowers' festival. Once the King of the Vines has been chosen, this day of celebration is an opportunity to organize a big meal and to honor Bulgarian cuisine, folklore and traditions. The following two days, trifountzi, ward off fate against the wolves.
